Dear Kid’s Flu Shot for 2007-
You suck ass.
Yours sincerely,
Jen
Piffle.
The washer was going all night, washing load after load of crib pads, crib sheets, stuffed animals, and barf-coated pjs. I stopped counting the baths we drew for her (and us). The whole upstairs smelled like old corned beef. It was so bad.
My poor little pookie is resting now, and is managing to keep simple, bland foods down. I try to rest while she sleeps, but I’m just not a good napper, even after no sleep.
And we won’t be eating corned beef any time soon.
The flu shot has never been good to me. Ever. So I refuse to get it now. Working at the hospital, though, all employees are required to have one, unless you sign a waiver form saying that you will refuse to get one. So that's what I did.
Posted by: JennySmith at October 25, 2007 5:46 PMOne really can't get the flu from the flu shot. However, if you are in a doctor's office where a bunch of sick people visit and touch various surfaces, well, that's a possible source.

Posted by: Jen Rodis at October 26, 2007 11:22 AMWell according to this site. The vaccine does not cause the flu BUT one of the side effects in children is vomiting. So it causes "flu like" symptoms? Either way, a pain for you. Hope she's all better now.
