Here is the result of the Stich N' Bitch earlier this week:

It's a little too small (see: inherited her mother's GIANT skull), and the sticthing is uneven in places. Uneven stitching MAKES IT CHARMING, people, CHARMING.
Not bad, though, for my first attempt at knitting in the round. Four needles in use at once! Woo-hoo!
I share neither Stephanie's mania enthusiasm for knitting, nor Crazy Aunt Purl's skill with drinking wine and knitting, but I still feel a sense of accomplishment, even if it does cut off the circulation to her brain.
i think you did a great job and the bean looks adorable in it.
Posted by: kath's mom at January 11, 2007 8:46 AMYou poor baby, you really are getting very bored aren't you. Ah, I remember it well. I think the mailman, ups and any other person who crossed my threshold during those times where very scared coming to my house for fear of being trapped in a hour conversation, just so I could have someone other than the baby to talk to.
But alas, the cap is adorable! but she seems to be telling me, that she misses me and wants to come to Aunt Anna's house to show off the cap in person.
I think Sophie is one of the cutest babies I have seen (next to my own kid of course). You should be a proud Mommy.

Posted by: Ryland at January 11, 2007 11:06 AMYeah, she has her parents to thank for those good looks. My mailman's a HOTTIE.
Just kidding.
Posted by: Jen Rodis at January 11, 2007 3:37 PMThe hat is really cute, as is Bean.
While she seems to have a skill for matching patterns, she doesn't seem, however, to have a skill for matching colors. :)
