From the "Shoudn't he have done this years ago when people were sure he was still alive?" department:
Interesting: he was in a Japanese-American internment camp from the ages of 4-8. Whoa.
The article came out in "Frontiers, a biweekly Los Angeles magazine covering the gay and lesbian community". Bi weekly. I get it.
Posted by: John at October 31, 2005 12:17 PMOn a serious note. This seems to be a time for gay people to come out whether it is show business, sports or fraternities. I mention the last one because my local chapter has had 5 gay people come out recently. It is interesting issue and some compare it to what black people went through before the civil rights movement. The big difference is gay people don't always make it known tht they are gay. Whereas black people are always known to be black so there was no hiding it. I think it will be tough for them in sports to come out. It won't be liked by many at first.
