Homework? Canis meus id comedit!

I start my Latin class in an hour. I'm taking a Latin class at the community college for my own edification. (Nerd, yes. I know.)

I also need your help: Dimitri and I are taking a wedding dance class this weekend, and we need suggestions for the song for our first dance.

Rules:
1) No Enya
2) No boy bands
3) It can't be really long. Four minutes max.
4) It should be a song that isn't a stereotypical "wedding song" (ie, no unchained melody, no Mariah Carey, no Celence Dion crap.

Okay, folks! Suggest away!

Oh, and wish me bonum fortunam on my first day of school!

At a wedding, a stereotypical "wedding" song seems appropriate. karen and I danced to "I Only Have Eyes For You".

Remind your Latin teacher to "semper ubi sub ubi"

I am impressed with the Latin class. I think all of my aunts/uncles/dad took Latin in high school and as a result generally know what words mean without having to look up the word in the dictionary.

I do not know what to recommend for you to dance to. All I know is that Extreme's "More Than Words" is such a pretty song and will be played at my wedding at some point (assuming I get married, of course).

How about the song "Boom I got your boyfriend....I got your man". Not sure who sings it.

Seriously though I knew a couple who did the tango to their first dance and they did it like Jamie Lee Curtis and Arnold in the movie True Lies. It was great and the crowd loved it.
